Edward Sunnerton wrote a wonderful analysis of Labyrinth when someone innocently asked, "Why are there so many pagans on this list?"
Maria, a member of the mailing list who lives in Russia, had some questions about the meaning of As the World Falls Down.
Steve Singer added his comments to my examination of As the World Falls Down.
I examined Jareth's desperation in the final confrontation that drove him to offer himself to Sarah as her slave.
doppleganger wrote a fantastic essay concerning whether or not the ballroom bubble is really still the labyrinth.

I've started collecting a few Trivia Questions to test your Labyrinth knowledge. (Still in progress)

With the help of some listeans, I've collected some curiousities you may or may not have noticed about Labyrinth.
I made some observations while viewing the film recently. Too many observations, in fact ;)
The twists and turns of the labyrinth are many, and all roads lead to Labyrinth.

Originally, I only joined Amethyst's list so I could read the fan fiction. Initially disappointed at the amount of discussion generated by the list, I quickly grew to love our lively conversations, occassional pillow fights and peach battles:) Some of the best discussions are about those questions that nag every viewer at one point or another:
- What the heck is the answer to that Alph and Ralph riddle?
- Another variation of the Alph and Ralph riddle.
- Wouldn't you be able to solve the Labyrinth quickly if you could just fly over it?
- What would the rain be like if everything else in the Labyrinth was odd.
- How many hours are in the Labyrinthian day? Ever notice that Sarah arrives outside the Labyrinth as dawn breaks, goes to the ball in the evening, and defeats Jareth the next morning?
- How did Hoggle know who Sarah was when she first arrived outside the Labyrinth?
- How could Sarah have found her way through the Labyrinth if she followed the worm's directions? Find out where she should have wound up.
- Why do those women hold mirrors up to Jareth's face in the ballroom sequence?
- How come Jareth always wears gloves?
- When Sarah is in the ballroom cyrstal, is she still in the labyrinth?
- Why does Sarah omit the line "To take back the child that you have stolen" in the final confrontation with Jareth?
- Why are there machines like the Cleaners in the labyrinth?
- What is the extent of Jareth's powers and is it related to his feelings for Sarah?
- Did you notice that Jareth appears extremely jealous in the "Bosom companions, friends" scene?
- When Sarah is in the ballroom, is she still in the labyrinth?
- What do you think would have happened if Sarah hadn't remembered her quest and escaped from the ballroom?
- Why is Jareth's name rarely mentioned?
- What could have been behind the door that Sarah hadn't chosen when she faced the two door knockers?
More to come!

Amethyst also created a newsgroup, alt.movies.labyrinth. These are just a few of the discussions posted there.
